CANBERRA OLYMPIC FOOTBALL CLUB – APPOINTMENT OF HEAD COACH, WOMENS PREMIER LEAGUE PROGRAM

Canberra Olympic Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Riddell to head our Women's Premier League Program for 2016.

Rob has developed and maintained strong links with women's football following his experience coaching in the Tasmanian Women's Premier League before moving to Canberra where he is completing a degree in Exercise Science / Sports Management at the University of Canberra.

Rob is currently coaching the Canberra Olympic Women's Capital League team where he has made a significant contribution to establishing and sustaining women's football within the Club while at the same time is employed as an intern with the FFA Centre of Excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity for Rob, the Club and Women's football in Canberra. Rob will be pivotal in developing the women's program from the ground up including setting the direction of the program, preparing a robust pre-season program, squad selection and integrating the program into Canberra Olympic's overall premier league program.

Canberra Olympic FC congratulates Rob and looks forward to working with him in the future to successfully promote women's football in the region through establishing a competitive and sought after women's premier league program.
